Education: Dr. Thomas graduated from Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan with a BS in Biology. He then attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, Calif.
Training: Dr. Thomas completed his foot and ankle surgery residency at Lakeview Hospital (now Ascension Wisconsin) in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He then served as a captain in the U.S.A.F in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Keesler Regional Medical Center, Biloxi Mississippi. Dr. Thomas practiced in academic medicine in the Division of Orthopaedics at the University of Alabama Birmingham, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at West Virginia University, and Marshall University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery as chief of foot and ankle surgery. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
